People use nature as though it requires nothing in return, yet outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and horse riding require trails that need to be built and maintained by hand. The goal of this brochure is to educate active trail users about an organization dedicated to the preservation of the outdoors, inspiring them to either donate their time and or money to the cause. The visual language is maximal, rugged, and organic. The transitional serif used throughout the titles and headers along with the halftone textures provides an opportunity for baby boomers and Gen Z alike to experience a sense of belonging on the page. To that end, each spread includes imagery of a wide spectrum of people, representing the diversity of those who enjoy these natural spaces.
I really wanted to create an interesting delivery method of graphical data. Most data is overlooked by casual readers, but when presented in a visually stimulating
and easily digestible way,
more people are inclined to pay attention.
